Original Logo
This Project was to create an "Original Logo" for your own business. I like how the lines are mainly outside the circle while it fades the closer they get to the circle. I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator, and expressed my imagination into a business logo. It was originally going to be a logo for an interior design business, but once the slashing marks were made I decided to make it a logo for a sword making company.
Business Suite
|
Within this project designs were made for business cards, envelopes, and letterheads using the "Original Logo". With the business card, I like how the background of it is dark to go along with the logo and the lettering. With the letterhead I like how it is nice and simple, but does not have the normal complete whiteness as other papers do. However the envelope is very simple so that the writer will have no distractions when writing addresses. During this project, I learned more on how to use illustrator and how to create business cards, business letterheads, and business envelopes. The designs were originally going to be more complex, but most people seem to prefer simplicity over large designs.

Can Design
This project was to create a design for any type of can. Mine was a "Can of Flowers", because flowers are pretty, nice, and usually smell wonderful; therefore, it would most likely lift, anyone who loves flowers, spirits. While creating this piece, I learned how important it is to have multiple ideas instead of just a few. The meaning behind a can being filled with flowers was to possibly lift people's spirits; it was my first and only idea that came so I tried building it from that.
South Park Character
This is my South Park character, and I created her not as one of the "goths", but more as a collected person who keeps to them self all the time. I created her because I just felt like a good calm person, who doesn't get involved with much, would be a good edition. I like the background, as far as how she is in the middle of the woods at night.
Killer Food
This was the "Killer Food" project, in which I took a a cherry, added on discolored cat eyes and a mouth. I like how the eyes seem almost mischievous, especially with the smile added along. In this project, I learned how to use more of the complex tools of Photoshop; how to take different parts from different pictures, and blend them together to give a close realistic look.
Poster
This was the "Informational Poster" project, where a poster was supposed to be made giving information for some kind of event. I used both Illustrator and Photoshop for this project to create the face, background, and words. The reason I created a "Frankenstein" theater poster was because at the time I was reading "Frankenstein" by Mary Sheller for my English class. Therefore, I figured I would create a poster for something related to it.
Magazine Cover
This was my Magazine Cover where a cover was to be created for a magazine called "Barren". Within this project I learned how to create a magazine cover using both Photoshop and Illustrator. The cover was fairly simple because I wasn't very experimental with it due to it being my first time creating one. However, I believe that the heart balloons and trees came out quite well.
Magazine Layout
|
The Magazine layout was also done very simple because I didn't spend too much time searching for different pictures. I was trying to figure out how the pictures and words should be arranged so I just played with the same picture for all of it. In this, I learned how to use Adobe InDesign which was much better than I expected. However, I do wish that I made the layout more unique and less simplistic.

Google Doodle
My Google Doodle was "Disney Princesses" themed consisting of Mulan, Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Rapunzel, and Pocahontas. I went for this theme because lots of ideas for it came, so is was easier to create. It was hand-drawn first, without any color, then I used Photoshop to brighten and color the drawing in. My favorite part about it would just be how well some of the princesses came out, because some were a lot harder to create than the others.
